Identification and form

Passport: copy of the first page with identification details and photograph.

Residence permit: copy of a valid Nordic residence permit or card. non-Nordic nationals only

Visa application form: completed and signed, with a photograph attached to the top left corner before scanning. Download the form

Educational institution

3 documents

Acceptance letter in Mozambique: issued by the Mozambican school or university and certified by the Ministry responsible for education, with a copy of the signatory’s Mozambican identity card or passport.

Home institution: letter of guarantee from the institution where you currently study in the Nordic countries.

Institutional agreement: copy of the contract or agreement between the Mozambican institution or company and the Nordic institution. where applicable

Health, background checks and declarations

Medical certificatefor the applicant. in Portuguese

Criminal recordcopy of the applicant’s criminal record certificate. in Portuguese

Return declarationsigned undertaking to return to the country of origin after completing the course.

Accommodation, finances and travel

3 documents

Accommodationevidence of guaranteed accommodation in Mozambique for at least three months.

Financial evidenceup-to-date bank statement.

Travelcopy of tickets or flight reservations.

Working students

Only if you are both employed and studying

Employer’s letter: confirming working-student status, with a copy of the responsible person’s Mozambican identity card or passport.

Before submitting

PaymentDo not pay until the Embassy formally asks you to do so.

Non-refundable feesFees are not returned if the application is refused.

Complete applicationsIncomplete applications will not be processed. The Embassy may request additional documents or requirements.
