Mozambique to host the second edition of the Mozambique Tourism Summit in Vilankulo

Launch of the Second Mozambique Tourism Summit in February 2026.

The city of Vilankulo, in Mozambique’s Inhambane Province, will host the second Mozambique Tourism Summit on 5 and 6 November 2026 under the theme “Mozambique: Where Africa Reinvents Itself.”

The event will be held in a hybrid format, with in-person participation and online streaming. On 5 November, the programme will feature the official opening ceremony, keynote addresses and discussions on investment and air connectivity. On 6 November, participants will visit priority investment areas in the region and take part in networking sessions.

Co-organised by the Government of Mozambique through ANDITUR FP (the National Agency for Tourism Development and Investment), the summit will bring together policymakers, business leaders and investors interested in opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

The initiative reflects the vision of His Excellency Daniel Francisco Chapo, President of the Republic of Mozambique, who places particular emphasis on economic diplomacy and on tourism’s role in diversifying the economy, creating jobs, developing human resources and regional assets, and attracting private investment.
